Participants sought for paid Inverurie focus group

Opportunity for Inverurie locals that don't normally think or talk much about climate change

If climate change is not at the top of your agenda, or if you just don’t think about it on a regular basis, then environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful, would like to hear from you.

The charity is calling for local people from in and around Inverurie to take part in a focus group on Tuesday 1st October. This focus group is for those that don’t normally think or talk that much about climate change.

Participants will have the chance to share their valuable opinions and in return for two hours of their time, everyone that takes part in the group will be rewarded with £25 at the end of the event.

The focus group, organised by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful on behalf of the Scottish Government, is part of The Big Climate Conversation - identifying what changes people in Scotland are willing to make, and what they want the Government to do to tackle the global climate emergency and end Scotland’s contribution to climate change completely within a generation.

Alastair Seaman, Climate Change Manager from Keep Scotland Beautiful commented:

“It is really important that everyone is part of the conversation about climate change. We are keen to hear from residents that don’t normally consider, think or talk that much about climate change.

“You don’t need to bring any experience or any knowledge to the table. We just want to talk to you and have a discussion about your priorities and hear your views.”

The event is taking place at:

The Acorn Centre, West Parish Church, West High Street, Inverurie AB51 3SA

5.30pm - 7.30pm
