Roadside Litter campaign arrives at services

Our roadside litter campaign 'Face through' boards have been installed at Bothwell and Hamilton service stations this week, ahead of the festive holidays.

As part of the roadside litter campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the scale and impact of roadside litter and encourage road users to do the right thing, we have arranged for two display boards to be located at Bothwell and Hamilton Services off the M74.

We're urging those taking a break on their travels over the festive period to keep an eye out for the boards, featuring litter characters Wido the crisp packet and Fizz the can o’ juice. You can step into their shoes or, faces, and take a photo of yourself, family or friends as one of the characters.  Why not share on social media with us @ksbscotland using the #RoadsideLitter

Getting thrown away by the side of the road is never fun - especially around Christmas. That’s why we are calling for everyone to Give your litter a lift, take it home!
