Proud to be Environmental Champion award winners
We were delighted to be nominated for an award at the Pride of Queens Cross Awards and are so pleased and proud to have won the Environmental Champion award 2022.
Queens Cross Housing Association hold these awards to recognise efforts and achievements by their residents, communities and employees as well as businesses and partners. On Friday 7th October the Pride of Queens Cross celebration took place after a few years missed due to Covid-19. Eleven awards were given out and it was great to be recognised for our work supporting communities become cleaner, greener, and more sustainable.
We have been working with Queens Cross Housing Association since 2018 assessing their properties for our National Award for Environmental Excellence® specific for housing providers. We were pleased to award them with a silver level award in 2019. We have also worked with Queens Cross Housing Association in our It’s Your Neighbourhood initiative, awarded a level 5 – outstanding certificate of distinction in 2021. The housing association are also an Anchor Group for our Upstream Battle® on the Clyde providing and promoting clean and green spaces.
We want to thank Queens Cross Housing Association for our award and recognition and are looking forward to our continued work together and seeing what more we can achieve. Also, a huge congratulations to all other winners and everyone involved in this event.
