Let's Go - A film about cycling, community and climate change
How can cycling help to build community, make a better, more sustainable Glasgow and contribute to Scotland’s efforts to tackle the climate crisis?
VeloCommunities, the 1,000th project to be awarded funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund, aims to get Glasgow’s commuters out of their cars and onto their bikes to help reduce local carbon emissions. The project is run by Glasgow-based cycling charity Bike for Good.
Theatre-maker Lewis Hetherington and film-maker Geraldine Heaney have been embedded in the inspiring work of the VeloCommunities project and have produced two films collaboratively with participants and staff.
The second film titled 'Let's Go! A film about cycling, community and climate change', launched during Scotland’s Climate Week during a free event at Bike For Good South on 12 October.
