Sustainable Development Goals: join the conversation

We are working as part of the SDG Scotland Network and in partnership with the Scottish Government and CoSLA on a Scottish review of implementation of the SDGs in Scotland through the UK Voluntary National Review.

This process gives us the opportunity in Scotland to have a national conversation about where we are on achieving the National Outcomes and the SDGs, what good currently looks like so we can learn from best practice and process, and better understand what our gaps, challenges and barriers are.

In February, we invited you to complete a survey to input into the UK Voluntary National Review,  your responses to the survey, along with evidence from a discussion paper on Scotland’s current performance against the SDGs, and policy and analytical perspectives from partners and within the Scottish Government, have now been written up into draft Goal based chapters. These chapters will form the basis of a Scottish Supplementary Review which will capture a full picture of performance and actions to help inform our long term thinking on delivery of the National Performance Framework and the SDGs.

We would now like to invite you to comment on the first draft write up of this material: https://public.3.basecamp.com/p/bGB7G2ToJMKUZrVAjDRdH6Sn by Friday 5th April.

Please contact SDG Network Coordinator, Paul Bradley, at paul.bradley@scvo.org.uk and Scottish Government National Outcomes and SDG lead, Victoria Loughlan, at victoria.loughlan@gov.scot if you have any questions.
