E3 residential kicks off

Fifteen teachers taking part in our Energy, Enterprise and Environment (E3) professional learning course are attending a two-day summer residential at Airth Castle.

Led by our Education Development Officer, Michelle Adamson, the E3 participants will put their learning in to practice and prepare themselves for delivering Learning for Sustainability in the classroom when they return to their schools for the start of the new school year later this month.

The educators will also prepare workshops and presentations which they will deliver to practitioners from other schools in their clusters, and local authority education and energy representatives.

The residential delegates will benefit from input from EDF Energy about STEM and create blogs for The Pod - EDF Energy’s award winning education programme. They will also enjoy sessions on ‘Food and the Environment’, ‘Low Carbon & the Circular Economy, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
