Could you be a heritage hero?

We're looking for volunteers to help us with some heritage maintenance work of the Forth & Clyde Canal at Maryhill Locks.

The work will involve stone masonry, lime mortaring, painting, vegetation removal and litter picking and will help us to make some important improvements to this section of the canal. All training will be provided, and you will leave with new skills.

Sessions will run from 10am - 3pm on the following dates, and you can sign up to as few or as many as you like:

14, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 28 August and on 3 and 4 September.

To find out more and sign up, please contact our Canal Cultural Heritage Office, Lisa Snedden at: lisa.snedden@keepscotlandbeautiful.org
