Webinar to help you promote your project

Encouraging people to become involved with your project can be difficult, particularly when it's not possible to hold physical events and gatherings.

Webinar slides and resources are online here.

This 90-minute webinar, on 17 June, will help you to develop an effective plan to promote your project and improve engagement.

Although the learning is aimed at Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) projects, it should also prove useful for other community-led organisations interested in tackling climate change.

The webinar will include advice on how to adapt your communications to the ongoing challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. And you’ll learn how to formulate a clear message and ‘ask’ for your project and find out more about a variety of approaches - including print, online, press and events - that will help you to engage successfully with your community.

To ensure that you can easily get branding right for your CCF project, and maximise opportunities to promote your project through CCF channels, the session will include an outline of guidance and templates, plus advice on how to get your story shared.

Throughout the webinar, a variety of case studies from CCF projects will be introduced. And there will be supporting activities, for you to discuss and try out later with your project team.

The session will conclude with a Q&A session.

The webinar will take place from 10:00am-11:30am on 17 June.
