Young people invited to Scottish Cabinet meeting in Stirling

The Scottish Cabinet are travelling to Stirling for their 50th meeting on the 7th August for a public discussion at the Engine Shed.

The First Minister and her Cabinet regularly hold their weekly meetings outside of Edinburgh, in towns and cities across Scotland. Following previous successful visits across Scotland, the next of these meetings will be held in Stirling.

Six places have been reserved for young people associated with Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) projects to attend a public discussion event where they will have the opportunity to ask the First Minister and her Cabinet questions, and to give their views on current and local issues.

Following the public discussion, the audience will be invited to join members of the Cabinet for light refreshments.

If you are a young person involved with a CCF project and want to apply to attend, please email ClimateChangeEngagement@gov.scot and supply information:

  • Your home address
  • Your email address
