Thank you to our groups and volunteers

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all of our incredible groups and volunteers across Scotland who have worked tirelessly throughout this difficult year to support and pull their communities together, cleaning up and greening up, and making their neighbourhoods brighter and better places for people and for our wildlife.

A special mention to our wonderful Beautiful Scotland judges and It’s Your Neighbourhood assessors for the time you have given this year to supporting our groups, contributing to our online Q&A sessions, sharing of your expertise in the newsletter and reaching out to our groups to keep them connected – sorry we couldn’t get you out on visits but we’re hopeful for 2021 as we know how much you and the groups value this part of the programmes.

Another special mention goes to our Green Flag Award and Scottish Beach Award judges and assessors - with some adjustments, they were still able to visit parks and beaches to provide valuable feedback to managers whilst keeping to COVID guidelines.

Thank you to you all. We hope you can look back at all your achievements this year and that you have a restful time over the festive period – you’ve definitely earnt it!
