Have your say on developing Scotland's circular economy
The Scottish Government are seeking your views on proposed legislation for the circular economy bill.
Reuse, reuse and recycle is a useful phrase to explain the idea of a more circular economy:
- Reduce demand for new materials by tackling our throwaway culture;
- Reuse what we have through encouraging reuse and repair; and
- Recycle resources at the end of their lifecycle to extract useful materials and maximise their value.
A more circular economy can include a host of benefits such as reducing the emission of greenhouse gases that cause climate change.
Organisations and members of the public are invited to respond to the circular economy bill consultation before 19 December.
Find out how to respond to the consultation on the Scottish Government's website.
