Virtual garden competition - vote for your favourite now!

Many of our volunteer Beautiful Scotland judges and It’s Your Neighbourhood assessors would have been out and about this fortnight visiting groups the length and breadth of Scotland. Sadly this can’t happen due to Covid-19, so instead, we've decided to turn the spotlight from our groups and to shine it on our pool of wonderful volunteers.

We’ve challenged them to our very first virtual garden competition, and we’d like you to join in!!

Our volunteers were encouraged to submit photos of their garden and you can now vote for your favourite (we’ve loved seeing the photos as it’s meant we’ve been able to have a nosey round their gardens….and beautiful they are too!).

The five categories they could enter were:

• Mixed garden (e.g. herbaceous, perennial)
• Edible garden
• Wildlife friendly garden
• Pots/hanging baskets/window boxes
• Fun and quirky garden
