Films explore the climate emergency from a young person’s perspective

Over the coming weeks we are delighted to be celebrating climate change films produced by young people as part of the Youth Climate Film Project.

The Youth Climate Film Project (YCFP) is an initiative delivered by Keep Scotland Beautiful with funding from the Scottish Government and The National Lottery through Screen Scotland.

The YCFP has involved free film-making training for 83 youth workers so they could support young people across the country to create short films that explore the climate emergency from a young person’s perspective.

The films created are being screened online locally by young people and youth groups to stimulate discussion about climate change.

In addition, we are delighted to be celebrating the films nationally from 12 April:

  • Watch out for out the hashtag #YouthClimateFilmProject on our social media feeds.
  • The films will also be available via our YCFP webpage and featured in the Take One Action Film Directory (further details available soon).

The first film will be released on 12 April, with a new film following each day.
