Hope for the environment post-Coronavirus? A blog post.
Lewis Bloss, Policy and Communications Officer for Keep Scotland Beautiful has discussed his hopes (and fears) for the environment post-coronavirus.
His thoughts are included in a recent addition to Keep Scotland Beautiful's series of blogs about climate change and environmental issues.
...I have found myself thinking a lot about one apparent silver lining to these difficult and unprecedented times: namely, the environmental impact of the actions we are all taking to protect those around us from the spread of coronavirus
Lewis goes on to write about falling carbon emissions and air pollution. And the return of wildlife to once polluted areas.
But what of the environment post coronavirus?
Will economic recovery from coronavirus be 'greener' than after the finanical crash of 2008/9?
