Are you up for the 2.6 Challenge?

We’re excited to be getting involved in the #TwoPointSixChallenge as part of a nationwide campaign to help save the UK’s charities.

During these unprecedented times, we are all adjusting to a new way of life. As your charity for Scotland’s environment, we are also adjusting to new ways of working under challenging circumstances.

Right now, our natural environment is more important to us than ever as we all spend time cooped up in our homes. Our “natural health service” is vital to our health and wellbeing. Enjoying our local green and open spaces whilst complying with social distancing is an important way for everyone to stay healthy.

And as a charity, we want to make sure we are still helping to protect our local green and open spaces once this pandemic has passed.

That’s why we’re asking people to get involved in the “2.6 Challenge” by donating or fundraising for us. The challenge is open to all ages and encourages people to get active and be creative around the number “26” or “2.6”.

This could be by walking 26 laps of your garden, throwing and catching a ball 26 times, or scooting for 26 minutes… Check out the #TwoPointSixChallenge website for inspiration – there are lots of ideas!

We really hope that you can help us at this difficult time. Get involved between 26th April until 1st May and donate through Virgin Money Giving. Remember that all donations will help our work to protect Scotland’s environment.

Thank you for your support!
