Abergreen project creates online guide to sustainable life

Do you want to make a positive difference for the planet while staying at home?

The AberGreen project has created a comprehensive online guide to leading a more sustainable life, in partnership with Home Energy Scotland.

AberGreen is a community-led sustainability education project based at the University of Aberdeen. The project received funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund to educate, empower and motivate the university community to make positive changes and to reduce their carbon footprint

Although the focus of the 'Greener Life on Campus' online course is staff and students at Aberdeen University, many of the modules will prove useful and interesting for all.

The course includes five practical modules, plus useful tools and videos to help people to reduce their carbon footprint.

These online resources give everyone a chance to learn at their own pace and choose between modules that cover energy efficiency, sustainable transport, recycling and much more.

Theire is even the option to test knowledge gained from each module with an online quiz!

Complete it online, at your own pace and do your bit for the planet.
