Climate Action Week Winners Announced
14 October 2024
Six schools were chosen from over 250 entries to our Sustainable Home Design Competition held during Climate Action Week.
More than 8,000 pupils joined a week of interactive Live Lessons during our Climate Action Week which coincided with Scotland’s Climate Week.
Climate Action Week is an annual event, and this year we focused on how our homes and gardens could look in a climate ready future with pupils invited to design their own sustainable home and garden including how to save energy and water and reduce waste and how to support the wellbeing of the people living there. Each lesson was followed by an activity to help pupils complete their design.
Six entries were chosen at random to receive a set of books. They are:
EY-P3
Bruntsfield Primary School, Edinburgh
Southmuir Primary School, Kirriemuir
Stow Primary School, Galashiels
P4-S2
Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Rìgh, Portree
