Climate Emergency Training for youth workers and those working with young people
18 August 2021
Booking is now open for our accredited Climate Emergency Training for youth workers and those working with young people.
The training is free and will give those taking part an understanding of the climate emergency and provide them with the skills to help the young people they work with take climate action.
With extreme weather events in the news almost daily and the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) happening in Scotland in November 2021, it has never been more important to provide opportunities for our young people to talk and learn about climate change.
We are providing this training as part of the COP26 Scottish Youth Climate Programme, which we are delivering with Young Scot and YouthLink Scotland. The programme is funded by the Scottish Government. The programme will ensure that young people can play a key role in Scotland’s response to the climate emergency, and that youth workers and those who work with young people are equipped to support them to do so.
