Project templates in CCF Ideas Bank

Apply to the CCF in partnership with an organisation that can offer a template of agreed support.

Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) project templates are available in the CCF Ideas Bank. These templates cover project themes including energy, transport, food and waste. The project templates have been submitted by 'Proposing Organisations', including local authorities, national charities and community-led organisations.

Some of the templates include support to develop and run a full CCF project, while others provide specific elements that could be added to an application.

Ideas Bank project templates include:

  • Community Energy Scotland - E-bikes and/or electric vehicles (EVs) and development of low carbon travel information
  • Transition Stirling - Tool Library, Repair Café and outreach activities
  • Revolve Recycle - Clothing swap shops and outreach activities
  • Hubbub Foundation UK - Support to setup and run a Community Fridge
  • Belville Community Garden Trust - Setup of hydroponic farming
  • Whitmuir Community Farm - A community based whole food system approach to reducing carbon emissions, including food growing, food waste and composting.

Community-led organisations are invited to use these templates to prepare an application to the CCF in partnership with the 'Proposing Organisation'. If the application to the CCF is successful the community-led organisation can pay their 'Proposing Organisation' partner up to 49% of their CCF Grant award to provide specified support and resources.
