Edinburgh Green Tease: Creative Approaches to One Planet Prosperity
In 2016, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) launched their new One Planet Prosperity Strategy which sets out the organisation’s ambitious new direction: to create one of the first environmental regulatory systems in the world that is suited to the challenges of the 21st century. During this event SEPA will share with the Green Tease network their vision for a more sustainable Scotland, with a special focus on air quality as a vital but invisible meeting point for a wide range of factors relating to sustainability including: climate change, social equality and public health.
Through presentations and discussion, participants are invited to explore how artistic practices could offer news means of understanding our relationship to air pollution, and contribute to the wider cultural shift to a more sustainable Scotland, with the view to building opportunities for future collaborations.
