Strachur Memorial Hall
Strachur Memorial Hall, situated in the heart of the village, is a wonderful and welcoming community facility. The hall garden has been transformed from an overgrown, neglected area to a place of peace and tranquility, attractive to all age groups. It is also an area which will attract wildlife and insects.
To commemorate the end of WW1 the group named the area ‘The Memorial Garden’ and a donated commemorative plaque is on display in the garden.
Participation in this transformation has been from hall user groups of all ages, and this spring the group is looking forward to seeing its raised planters in full bloom.
