Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust
Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust is a group of community volunteers who formed eight years ago to maintain the former Old Parish Church as a community venue and heritage centre. With the help of a generous benefactor, the group has purchased the church from the Church of Scotland and it is now a busy centre for music and community events as well as worship.
For many years now the volunteer group has maintained the flower borders in the surrounding historic churchyard on behalf of Fife Council, to make the right of way through the churchyard attractive to nearby residents and visitors alike.
In 2018, Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
