Greenock Cut Conservation Volunteers
The group meets once a week at the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre in the North side of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. It carries out a wide range of conservation work and biological surveys to improve the local area for wildlife and the public. The group works alongside the local Ranger Service to carry out the improvements. Work carried out includes path maintenance, habitat creation, pond clearance, invasive species control, drainage work, beach cleans, litter picks and biological recording.
