Friends of Seaton Park

Friends of Seaton Park works in partnership with Aberdeen City Council to ensure the park is a rewarding space for everyone to visit.  It’s 2018 projects included the successful installation of an outdoor table tennis table which was purchased using funding from a successful application to a participatory budget initiative. The group also painted a mural on the Gardener's Bothy. This has brightened up a boring wall and enabled the group to work with other members of the community. It also expanded a ‘crocus carpet’ by planting 2,000 bulbs. The group plans on more such projects for 2019.

In 2018, Friends of Seaton Park was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
