2018 Certificates Level 5 - Outstanding
Certificate of Distinction

The group, which was formed in 2004, works closely with North Lanarkshire Council to improve the accessibility, infrastructure and maintenance of the two parks which are situated on the A89 in the west end of Airdrie. The group aims to encourage as many people as possible to visit the parks and enjoy the wonderful open space. The group has created provisions for a wide range of visitors, including historic information walks, an evening light trail, sensory garden, jogging track, wildlife pond, art works and three play areas which provide facilities for all ages and abilities.

In 2018, Friends of Centenary & West End Parks Airdrie was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
