Community-Led Environmental Action for Regeneration is an active charity working in deprived Levenmouth. CLEAR aims to improve the local environment and to build civic pride and engagement. CLEAR creates community orchards and woodlands, planting around 3-4,000 trees per year, in floral enhancement (bulbs, shrubs, flowers), in landscaping, community art and heritage (ceramics, mural, totems, archways, interpretation panels and trails). CLEAR also runs community growing spaces, involving local schools. Local public maintenance including litter picks. Work is carried out mainly by volunteers and there is a regular weekly programme maintained around the year. A major expansion into neighbouring Methil is underway.
In 2018, CLEAR Buckhaven was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
