Bonnie Dundee is a group of independent volunteers of all ages, working in partnership with Dundee City Council, which is dedicated to improving the environment of the City. In 2016, the group was awarded a Tesco 'Bags of Help' Grant for £12,000 which it used to build a Community Garden in the new Slessor Gardens, which is part of the multimillion Waterfront Project. New projects for 2017 include helping to build a Remembrance Garden for 'Addiction Dundee' and working with the shopping mall - the 'Overgate' Dundee - to create a wildflower garden and fruit and vegetables for a school for children with difficulties. Both of these projects come under the RHS scheme of 'Greening Grey Britain'. The group looks forward to making Bonnie Dundee colourful all over the City and beyond.

In 2016, Bonnie Dundee Group - Container Garden Project was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
