Spring Clean

Spring Clean 19 was a massive success again this year. We'd like to thank all our supporters who took part to help us clean up Scotland for our future generations.

Our Spring Clean report is now available for you to read. This year we saw over 45,000 people take action across all 32 local authorities, a 30% increase from 2018.

We are delighted to see some positive trends across Scotland:

1) 71% increase in business-led Clean Up events

2) 28% increase in school Clean Ups

3) 90% increase in marine Clean Ups

In 2019, Scotmid Cooperative was our principle partner. As part of this partnership a number of stores became community hubs with equipment and information for groups to use. Scotmid also engaged with schools and communities locally to support the Clean Up Scotland campaign.

You can continue to support the Clean Up Scotland campaign by:

We have already started planning for Spring Clean 2020. Building on the success of Spring Clean 19, we'd like to make 2020 the best one yet and get as many communities, schools, local authorities and businesses involved to help us with our goal to clean up Scotland.

To make it a success we need to work together. Please get in touch if you have any exciting ideas or plans that we can incorporate into our planning for next year.
