Crook and Drum Growing Together

Bronze

The group established in Spring 2016, with volunteers from the villages of Crook of Devon and Drum. It is a constituted group and is a member of Take a Pride in Perth and Kinross.
The group maintains the grounds around the village hall, and has 28 planters and half barrels with year round planting, a hanging basket at the shop, as well as a wildlife bed with perennial planting on the Village Green. Daffodils were planted on the verges between the villages last autumn, and the group plans to extend these this year. It is also planning some larger planters, and areas of wildflowers. The group has two young volunteers working on their bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards. The group does not yet have a website or facebook link, but uses the school and community facebook forums, and advertises its activities in the local Kinross newsletter.
