Seasons of Ceres
The group was formed in 2007 to enhance the appearance of the village. The group’s range of tubs and planters has grown steadily, and it has taken over a number of neglected areas and beds formerly maintained by Fife Council. Luna, the group’s topiary horse named by the Primary School pupils, has become a much-loved feature, decorated seasonally by local children and volunteers. The group’s Community Garden is being established in the Church car park. So far it has installed tubs and trellis along the back wall with fruit trees and flowering climbers. Future plans include raised beds and seating areas.
