Uddingston Pride, founded in 2000, is a group whose aim is to improve the appearance of the Community of Uddingston by decorating the streets with attractive floral displays distributed around the Village, and by maintaining a tidy and litter-free environment. In addition, Uddingston Pride acts as a community focus group, in cooperation with the Community Council, to improve the experience of those who live in the Community, giving them a sense of belonging and a pride in Uddingston.
In 2017, Uddingston Pride was one of eight Beautiful Scotland groups representing Scotland in the RHS Britain in Bloom finals. The group was awarded a Gold in the 'Urban Community' category. For a list of all the winners, click here.
