Support for Your Community Event
Are you an individual or group concerned about climate change and thinking about ways to make a difference in the place where you live? Creating a climate event is a great way to get your community excited about tackling climate change and supporting Scotland’s transition to net-zero.
It’s an opportunity to collaborate with others in your community to organise fun, creative and engaging events. You’ll join a network of groups inspiring their communities to take action on climate change, creating connections across Scotland.

New Year's Mixer for community event organisers
Wednesday 26 January | 7:00 - 8:30pm | online | free event
Are you interested in organising your own community climate event? Do you have lots of ideas but are unsure how to get started? This is a session to learn more about Scotland’s Climate Festival and how to join in. Our Festival Officers will be here to answer your questions and highlight many of the resources and opportunities available, including seed funding to help get your event up and running.
We'll also meet with other climate event organisers to learn about how to get your community involved: Joining us for this first session will be Elaine Grant, Business Manager with Falkirk Delivers, who will discuss their recent Falkirk SHOP26 climate festival, an action packed 2-day event featuring STORM, the giant sea goddess made from recycled materials.
There will also be opportunities for networking and meeting with other attendees in the breakout rooms. Join us for this lively session!
