Children in Scotland National Food Conference

Biting back: Transforming food experiences for Scotland’s children

Children In Scotland's national food conference, run in partnership with Queen Margaret University, will focus on the latest research, creative approaches and current projects aimed at improving food experiences, and the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

From workforce to wellbeing: you'll hear from practitioners and policy-makers in health, education and community planning as well as from well-known food experts — including The Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith, multi-award winning chef Gary Maclean, and Joe FitzPatrick MSP, Minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing.

Our Food and Environment Officer Eve Keepax will be leading a workshop in the afternoon on how our Eco-Schools Scotland and Food and the Environment programmes can support memorable, meaningful sustainable food experiences.
