Marine Litter Art Competition - Final Entry Deadline
We are inviting schools in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk to take part in an exciting opportunity to have your pupils’ artwork displayed as part of an exhibit for World Oceans Day at Blair Drummond Safari Park.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is partnering with Blair Drummond Safari Park and hosting an exhibition to raise awareness of marine litter. As 80% of the litter in our seas comes from land, our focus for the exhibit will be the pathways of litter from land to sea.
We are challenging young people to research this issue, and the exhibit will give them a platform to present their findings and views on this. All winning entries will be unveiled at Blair Drummond on the 9th and 10th June, and winners will receive free entry to the Safari Park to see their work Following the weekend entries will be displayed at a location within the park for the rest of the season. Over the launch weekend we expect to have over 4,000 visitors to the park exposed to the pupils' artwork.
