Marine Litter Art Competition - Exhibit
An exhibition of artwork from schools in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk as part of an exhibit for World Oceans Day at Blair Drummond Safari Park.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is partnering with Blair Drummond Safari Park and hosting an exhibition to raise awareness of marine litter. As 80% of the litter in our seas comes from land, our focus for the exhibit will be the pathways of litter from land to sea.
We have challenged young people to research this issue, and the exhibit will present their findings and views on this. All winning entries will be showcased Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure park for the weekend of 9th and 10th June. Winners will receive free entry to the Safari Park to see their work Following the weekend entries will be displayed at a location within the park for the rest of the season. Over the launch weekend we expect to have over 4,000 visitors to the park exposed to the pupils' artwork.
The overall winning group will receive a backstage experience at the park. This will include meeting the keepers and the opportunity to see behind the scenes.
