SSN Member Event - December 2017

Our last event of 2017 is being held Wednesday 13th December in Glasgow 10am to 2.30pm. Based on feedback from network surveys and to ensure that this event is more practitioner-led we will have plenty of time for networking and discussions to identify actions for addressing some of the key issues that members’ need support on.

If you didn’t make it along to the SSN Conference or were unable to attend the session on Electric Vehicles we will be running a follow-up with contributions from early adopters such as Strathclyde University, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Council. This will focus on more practical aspects and issues on adopting electric vehicles. A similar style of session in the afternoon will be on Green Champion Networks. This will be an opportunity for people to share knowledge and experience on different approaches, successes and challenges.

Dependent on the nature of needs identified during both session discussions, we may seek volunteers to form support groups facilitated by SSN staff to co-design resources such as case studies, guidance and also identify policy development needs for feedback to the Scottish Government.
