Active Travel Conference 2019 (CCF exhibition stand at a third party event)
The 11th annual Walking, Cycling, Connecting Communities Conference – commonly known as the National Active Travel Conference – returns to Edinburgh on 12 June 2019.
Celebrating over a decade of promotion and development of Active Travel in Scotland, the conference’s theme is “Widening Access to Active Travel.”
We’ll be looking at how technology can help people travel more actively and examine issues surrounding transport poverty and accessibility.
A stellar line-up of keynote speakers includes Adrian Davis, professor of transport and health, Transport Research Institute and the newly-appointed Active Nation Commissioner Lee Craigie.
A diverse range of breakout sessions will see delegates participating in interactive workshops, hearing presentations on the latest research and projects, or taking part in active demo sessions.
We are delighted to be attending the conference to host a Climate Challenge Fund exhibition stand. Please do come and see us for further information about how the Fund can support projects involving active travel initiatives. You can view case studies of Climate Challenge Fund projects involving active travel on the Climate Challenge Fund website here and find out more about activities that are eligible for funding here.
From 12 June 2019 09:00 to 17:00
at Corn Exchange, Edinburgh
