Climate Emergency Training with Keep Scotland Beautiful - commencing 26 October

Do you want to understand more about the climate emergency that we face whilst also learning about the actions you can take to make a positive difference?

If so, this course is for you.

Our Climate Emergency Training is eight hours of learning and takes place over four weeks. Each week involves an hour-long online session led by our expert trainers, followed by some self-study tasks to be completed before the next session.

The course is split into four modules:

The online sessions are on:

Wednesday 26 October, 14:00 - 15:00: An introduction to climate change

Wednesday 2 November, 14:00 - 15:00: Climate impacts and adaptation

Wednesday 9 November, 14:00 - 15:00: Reducing emissions (mitigation)

Wednesday 16 November, 14:00 - 15:00: Climate action and communication

By booking onto this course you are committing to attend all four sessions.

We keep the training class size to a maximum of 15 participants to allow for group interaction and discussion.

At the end of this course, for a small additional fee, you can choose to apply to be certified as Carbon Literate by the Carbon Literacy Project.
