Your charity for Scotland’s environment

Local Environmental Quality Network

We operate Scotland’s only Local Environmental Quality Network. The network is made up of public and private organisations who work with us on the joint goal of improving the cleanliness and quality of places through effective and efficient management and action.

Why join the Local Environmental Quality Network?

We can offer you opportunities to meet, share and discuss relevant issues with your peer group. We operate regular network forums and an annual event where we recognise and celebrate your achievements with our national awards ceremony.

Our training is comprehensive, productive and delivered by industry professionals. We provide an annual training programme of events focussed on environmental quality issues, legislation and associated topics. In addition to this regular programme, we can create and deliver bespoke training events to meet your needs.

We work closely with our community projects team, which allows us to offer you direct, specialist assistance in the formulation of your local litter campaigns.

We also run LEAMS (Local Environmental Auditing and Management System) which allows us to offer you a full range of auditing and monitoring of all local environmental issues.

We can also offer you and your organisation strategic advice and support, analytical environmental quality tools, access to our latest environmental research, a members forum, a member area on our website and discounts on services and products.

On top of this you can also access a range of other products and services we offer, including:

  • Access to our local and national volunteering programme
  • Consultancy and research services
  • Training and advisory services
  • Support services
  • Bespoke events
