Learning Online

We are available to provide remote learning to schools in January.

Secondary Schools: Climate Ready Classrooms

Our Climate Ready Classrooms course is available via remote learning.  A one-day accredited Carbon Literacy training course designed for young people aged 14–17 years.  It uses interactive activities and examples to start a conversation about climate change.  Upon completing the course, pupils receive Carbon Literacy accreditation.  This course is delivered free of charge through our partnership with ESgoil.  Have a look at their timetable for further information and booking.

Primary Schools: Introduction to Climate Change

For primary pupils we offer an Introduction to Climate Change course covering 4 main areas:

  • Basic science behind climate change.
  • How to measure our changing weather.
  • The ethical/moral questions surrounding climate change.
  • Positive actions we can take to combat climate change.

The course can be completed online and has a range of tasks, including practical and creative activities.

This course is also free of charge and available in January.  To register a place on this course, please email us at ecoschools@keepscotlandbeautiful.org.
