Supply chain members

Our supply chain members are instrumental in determining the choices that retailers provide to consumers. By working with them, we are starting to address some of the complexities around different cup choices and find innovative solutions for making the whole industry more sustainable.

Retailers

Their counters are where single-use cups reach consumers. Our retailer members can determine the choices their customers encounter and help promote an ethos of sustainability. In addition to our big coffee chain funders we are also looking to work with other catering operators and the independent sector.

Public spaces

Public spaces like shopping centres, transport hubs and other venues are all places where people are likely to be using cups on-the-go. They are also 'closed-loop' settings, within which people are likely to both purchase, consume and dispose of their drink, which offers a unique opportunity to influence cup use habits from start to finish.

In the workplace

Coffee is vital fuel for much of the workforce and our workplace members are ideally placed to help these avid cup users to reconsider their daily cup-use habits. From recycling facilities and reuse incentives to awareness-raising and campaigning, these members are leading the way in reducing cup waste in the workplace.

Delivery partners

Beyond those directly involved in the production and consumption of cups, our delivery partners help to make the most of Cup Movement.
