Brew with a view

Enjoy a #BrewWithAView this July and August

The #BrewWithAView competition has now closed.

Thank you for your entries.

The winners will be notified shortly.

During July and August, as part of the #HighlandCupMovement, we are inviting you to share a photo of yourself enjoying a #BrewWithAView in the Highlands.

#BrewWithAView prizes of £250, £100 and £50 are on offer as we celebrate the many beautiful locations across the North Coast 500 where you can stop for a cuppa as well as the pioneering businesses encouraging customers to purchase their hot drinks in a reusable cup.

Our campaign encourages people to use reusable cups for takeaway drinks, customers can use their own cup or download the Vytal app and borrow a reusable cup from any of the partner businesses we are working with.  The network includes cafes, a campsite, visitor attractions, delis, restaurants, mobile vans and a bakehouse in and around the NC500 route. Maps of the businesses can be found on the Highland Cup Movement map and on the Vytal app which can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play store.

It's simple - post an image of a reusable cup with a view in the Highlands and add it as a comment on one of Keep Scotland Beautiful's social media posts.

You can post it on your own feed and tag #BrewWithAView and @KSBScotland but make sure your privacy settings will let us see it.  You can also email your photos to highlandcup@keepscotlandbeautiful.org.

So, pick up your own reusable cup, or borrow one using the Vytal app then grab a cuppa, take a snap or it and your view, and get sharing with us and NC500.

Make sure you keep safe and please ensure if you are taking photos at roadside locations you only stop where it is safe to do so and parking is permitted. Please do not stop in designated passing places.

We make it easy to choose a reusable cup for your takeaway drink.

The Highland Cup Movement network includes businesses across the northern Highlands and around the NC500 route all working to reduce the number of single-use cups for takeaway drinks.

All the network businesses will encourage you to use your own mug or support you to borrow a Vytal reusable cup which can be conveniently returned to that business or any other one in the network. You can find the business locations on the Vytal app or by following this link.

Download the Vytal app

The links below will take you to the App Store or Google Play to download the Vytal app. You must have created an account on the Vytal app before you order a takeaway drink in a Vytal cup.

As part of the registration, your account will need to be linked with a payment method. There is no cost for borrowing a Vytal cup if you return it to any participating business within 14 days. However, if you do not return the cup within 14 days, you will be charged £4.
