Hayfield Community garden offers local people a space to grow their own vegetables, relax outdoors or play and explore. It was set up with help from the Climate Challenge Fund. Raised beds are available for all to use to try out planting and growing vegetables. Their friendly Community Gardener, Preeyapa is on hand to give advice and help, and is popular with the children in the Parent & Toddler Group. They love to water the garden and plant - and pick the strawberries in summer! The garden opens off the Community Centre which is run by volunteers at the heart of the community.
