Ury Riverside Park SCIO

The Park is on part of the River Ury flood plain and used to be part of a farm. It is now being developed by the local community as a great place to walk, jog, or ride a bike and to watch wildlife.
Areas are being managed with wildflower meadows, wetlands, newly planted native woodlands, and informal recreational areas.
The paths are level and great for walking, cycling, buggies and wheelchair users.
The River Ury is home to otters, fish and many insects. People are advised to keep dogs and children out of the water for their own safety and to avoid disturbing the wildlife.
In 2022, the group were recognised with the Keep Scotland Beautiful 'Beautiful Scotland and It's Your Neighbourhood' discretionary award - joint winner of Parks and Green Spaces Award.
