Shiell Street Community Garden
Shiell Street Community Garden was originally set up by members of Grove Eco School Group. It is now maintained by current Eco School Members and Outdoor Learning pupils from Grove Academy. They have installed a number of raised beds thanks to CCAF funding and these have been used to grow food. One of the raised beds is maintained by Great Beginnings Nursery which neighbours the site.
The garden is on a popular route for walkers and dog owners and is well regarded by the local community. They strive to grow plants that increase biodiversity and work on improving the number of ways in which they can support local wildlife.
