Scenic Sandbank is a group of enthusiastic volunteers of all ages who give their time to making Sandbank a great place to live, work and play. There is an ever-growing sense of community, as they work to make Sandbank beautiful by filling their many planting areas with native plants which attract bees, insects, birds and all kinds of wildlife.
They have an active litter picking group and, due to the number of dog poo bag bottles fixed to lamp posts around the village, have waged war on dog poo being left on the pavements. This has seen a definite decline in people not picking up after their dogs, which is great for the village.
