Riverview Bee Happy Project

The ‘Riverview Bee Happy Project’ is based at the hostel for Aberdeen City Music School. They have been developing their outdoor space to provide an area where the young people can enhance their wellbeing by having an area to relax and enjoy nature. Their aim was to create an environment where the young people could learn about growing fruit, vegetables, herbs, and insect friendly flowers as well as learning more about their links with nature and how they can enhance this. They developed the outdoor space last year, and this year want to continue involving the young people in planting bulbs, bedding plants and herbs. They are looking forward to working again alongside It’s Your Neighbourhood and Keep Scotland Beautiful.
