Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust
Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust is a community-led charity that maintains the Old Parish Kirk, the oldest building in continuous use in the town, as a community venue, church and heritage centre. Around the church is the historic graveyard and the group maintains the flowerbeds that greet visitors at the entrance, for Fife Council Bereavement Services.
This year, the ancient 15th century tower is getting restoration work costing half a million pounds to secure its stonework and mend its leaking roof. With scaffolding around, access to the flowerbeds is going to prove more of a challenge!
