Hazlehead Outdoor Nursery

An outdoor nursery established in the beautiful area of Hazlehead, surrounded by woods and greenery. The children are out in all weathers and the nursery utilises the natural environment to allow the children to learn and engage with nature. At the nursery’s base, they have starting a community garden, where the children learn about growing, and have established an orchard of trees, each owned by a child. This allows them ownership of their own tree and they learn how to care for it. The fruits are be for anyone local to harvest, as are the raised beds of vegetables that the children are involved in growing.
