Hazlehead Outdoor Nursery

An outdoor nursery established in the beautiful area of Hazlehead, surrounded by woods and greenery. The children are out in all weathers and the nursery utilises the natural environment to allow the children to learn and engage with nature. At the nursery’s base, they are starting a community garden, where the children can learn about growing, and establishing an orchard of trees, each owned by a child. This will allow them ownership of their own tree and learn how to care for it. The fruits will be for anyone local to harvest, as will the raised beds of vegetables that the children will grow.
