Friends of Barshaw Park

A group of local people who care about the lovely Barshaw Park, and want to ensure that it is maintained and improved for the benefit of the community and visitors.

The group delivers cultural and fun activities in the park and has a large group of volunteers who maintain the Walled Garden.

In 2022, they intend to expand their activities by creating a community garden within the park, and working in partnership with the Defence Gardens charity to deliver gardening therapy sessions for service veterans.
